"B" Time Wars!

Im always into B-Time Wars with George. What am I referring to?? Hmm.. they are Bathtime and Bedtime!

He is a child who is on the move always. He just could not sit still, lie still. During bath time, asking him to sit still in his bath tub is impossible. He would turn himself 360 degrees, turning himself from one end of the tub to the other end of the tub. He will play with his duck and throw it out of the tub. After throwing, he will throw his body out of the tub to look at where he threw his duck to. He will try to reach for it, touch the floor while he is still sitting in the tub. He will keep straightening his legs, wanting to stand up. He will also keep throwing himself forward, wanting to crawl about. There are still so much more....

Bed time is of no better. When we put him to bed, he will flip over immediately, sit up and start playing. Crawling from head to tail of bed, moving here and there. Standing up and down, trying to be KPO, touch almost everything within his reach. When you try to pin him down, he will resist with his strength, scream and shout, and flip back to sit up to play again. I always carry him to put him back to his sleeping position again, again and again... Countless times. We tried so many times training him to sleep himself by switching off the lights. But it is of no use to him. He continued to play, or he will pull down his beddings and look towards the door, waiting for us to come in. Playful... Playful.. Playful.. So we always try to pin him down till he is tired of resisting.. It is like a wrestling match for me every night.

I told my hubby always: "It seems like Im trying to tame a Monkey everyday!"
